From Center for Interactive Learning: In this vibrant offering, students get to experience relationships between themselves and others, jazz music and dance, and American history, through exploring simple, grooving rhythmic movements and using them to interact with one another and improvise. Learn how jazz was born from a combination of African and European movement styles to create a uniquely American approach to dance. This offering is great for history and music classrooms, dance programs, libraries, senior care facilities and anyone curious about jazz!
