A Cast Worth Getting Excited About

Parents might recognize a few familiar voices in PAW Patrol: The Dino Movie. The cast includes Jennifer Hudson, Snoop Dogg, Terry Crews, Jameela Jamil, Fortune Feimster, Paris Hilton, Bill Nye, and Mckenna Grace returning as Skye.

Add in Bottled Up, a brand-new Backstreet Boys song created just for the movie, and there are a few fun surprises for parents, too.

What the Movie Is About

PAW Patrol: The Dino Movie centers around Marshall, the lovable fan-favorite pup, as the PAW Patrol heads into an all-new dinosaur-sized adventure.

After their ship gets caught in a storm, the PAW Patrol pups crash-land on a mysterious dinosaur island. They meet Rex, a pup who's been stranded there for years and knows everything about the dinosaurs that live there. When Mayor Humdinger shows up and starts recklessly mining the island — accidentally triggering a dormant volcano — the pups are thrown into their biggest rescue mission yet.

Dinosaurs, a volcano, a tropical island, Marshall in the middle of the action, and the whole PAW Patrol crew? Your kids are going to want to be in the theater for this one.

How To Prep for a First Movie Theater Trip

If this is your child's first movie theater experience, PAW Patrol: The Dino Movie is a great place to start. Familiar characters, a kid-friendly adventure, and exciting dinosaurs make it a fun introduction to seeing a movie on the big screen together.

To help make that first trip to the movies a success, a little preparation goes a long way. Talk through what to expect before you arrive: Finding seats, getting snacks, watching previews, and staying seated while the movie plays. Let them know it'll be darker and louder than watching at home, but they can sit close to you, take a quick break if needed, or cover their ears. For most kids, knowing what's coming is the difference between nervous and excited.
